With this two-day workshop we bring together local and international actors researching electronic waste, its circulations, transformations, and impacts for human and non-human beings. We are particularly interested in the transmedia dimensions of aesthetic and interdisciplinary scientific research and its impact for everyday life.
What kind of practices might provide us with a critical take on waste’s world-making?
Shu Lea Cheang (Paris), Baruch Gottlieb (Berlin), KairUs (Linz), Shusha Niederberger (Basel), Dietmar Offenhuber (Boston), Research Team Times of Waste (Basel)
The workshop is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
